Activities to Enjoy in Almeria with Handicapped Kids

Summer is creeping up on us and there’s so much to do. Places to see, discover and enjoy. That’s why we wanted to give you a few special recommendations in this post for handicapped people of all ages.

At AquaVera, we’re perfectly ready to serve everyone with suitable floater attractions equipped with handicap access ramps: Black Holes and Rio Aventura.

For the young ones, we have well-prepared areas where they can relax and have fun like our kiddies pool: Aqualandia, our play area with ramps, slides, mushrooms, the Cubo Splash (where hundreds of litres of water will flood over you when least expecting it), water jets and a wave pool.

Speaking of animals, we always recommend taking a walk through the well-known Mariposario de Níjar butterfly zoo. It’s a real sanctuary for these animals amid all the flowers. You’ll be able to learn about their lifecycle in freedom all while enjoying the range of colours and beauty offered by the more than 300 exotic butterflies present.

On the other hand, if you’d like to fully experience an Old West film, we recommend visiting Cinema Studios Fort Bravo. It’s a unique place with the most important Western film decor in Europe. The Tabernas Desert hosts this fun-filled show for the whole family which is perfectly adapted for the handicapped so you won’t miss a thing.
